When and where is the Grand Final?
The grand final is to be held on 27 November, 2010 at Riverside Majestic Kuching Hotel.
When is the Closing Date for submission of entry?
The last day to submit your entry is on 15 October, 2010. However, it is best that you submit your entry earlier so that you can prepare earlier for the audition and interview.
What are the qualifications to take part?
You must be a Sarawakian, unmarried single lady, age between 17 & 25 year, and must be able to communicate in English.
How can I take part, and where can I get the entry form?
No entry form is required All you have to do is email your most recent close-up photo, name, age, phone contact, and home town or city to missborneobeautiful@gmail.com and alaricsoh@gmail.com, or MMS to 014-6800000. Once we have received your entry, we will call you for audition and interview.
When is the Audition and Interview?
Auditions and interviews will be conducted in Miri on 16 October, 2010 at Mega Hotel Miri at 10.30am and in Kuching on 17 October, 2010 at Riverside Majestic Hotel Kuching at 10.30am.
I have no beauty pageant or modeling experience. Can I take part?
Yes, you can, don't worry. Mr. Alaric Soh will personally train, teach and groom you in professional catwalk, stage and runway presentation and etiquette till you are ready to take to the runway.
Do I have to wear swimwear?
No, you don’t have to wear swimwear. No swimwear is required in any of the beauty pageant organized by Alaric’s Productions.
Do I have to make my Evening Gown for the Grand Final night?
No, you don’t have to make any evening gown. All contest attire, including high heeled shoes and evening gowns, will be provided by the organizer.
If I am selected as finalist, how many days do I have to stay in Kuching during the Grand Final?
You must stay in Kuching from 22 to 28 November, 2010 during the Grand Final.
As finalist, do I have to pay for my return airtickets to Kuching for the Grand Final?
No, you don’t have to pay any of your return airticket. The organizer will provide all return airtickets to Kuching.
Where do all finalists stay in Kuching, and do I have to pay for my hotel accommodation and meals during the Grand Final from 22 to 28 November, 2010?
You will be staying at the Riverside Majestic Kuching Hotel. The organizer will pay for all hotel accommodation and meals.
Is there any entry fee required?
No entry fee is required. Entry is free.
Is there any contract to sign after I win any of the title?
No, you don’t have to sign any contract. There is no contract required.

Winner, 1st & 2nd Runner Ups will also have the opportunity to study for the one year part-time or full-time course leading to the Executive Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism at UCSI University Sarawak Campus. The university fees for winner worth RM11,000 will be paid in full, the 1st Runner Up will receive a 50% discount worth RM5,500, and the 2nd Runner Up will receive a 30% discount worth RM3,300.
Every Finalist will receive RM300 cash
Any finalist who does not win any of the awards and cash prizes will nevertheless receive RM300 cash as a thank-you gift for taking part.

may i know what is the minimum high required to entering the Miss Borneo beauty pageant? I m 157cm, can i join that pageant?

ReplyDeleteif 160cm is the minimum height, then unfortunately someone below that height will be reject straight away is it? Eventhough she already submit the application to join the pageant?
